I wanted to do something with Kyra's stock, because she comments on my stuff and is my friend and isn't used nearly enough. With this picture I was hoping to create the writer's world. I kept the original (slightly boring) background, then changed everything else. Painted the longer hair myself (I forgot I had brushes for that until too late). Enjoy and comment!

Hey Baby Doll. I like it! Good idea!! Can you paint over the red spot on the end of her hair? Also, did you try moving over the line. If she actually looks like she's crossing over into it, that might be cool.... Just imagining...
OMG, I love this. Yay for using my stock. ^-^ Ooh, are those wings? Did you give me wings? Even more awesome. The various layers are gorgeous here; and you're right, this is pretty much how a writer's imagination tends you work. But you knew that. ^-^ I agree with the other commenter that the other forest layer needs to blend a bit more into the original background, but that's minor.
Added this to my scraps on dA so I can fave it on my stock account--hope you don't mind.
