Skeptical

So, today I decided I wanted to go to the downtown area and practice doing portraits of someone OTHER than me. I loaded up Philip and Laura and after a stop for sewing supplies and a stop for McDonald's we got to a location I liked. I didn't even try asking Laura to let me take her picture (she never ever lets me and makes my life miserable if I mention it). I asked Philip to stand where I wanted him. He made faces and frowned at me and wouldn't act normal. I got five pictures, and was asked about three times when I'd be done. On the way to the car, I saw a cool door and wanted Philip to stand by it. He grumbled so I just said forget it, it wouldn't look good if he was just going to frown again. When I got home, I found that all of his pictures weren't good, and the only one that was vaguely natural looking was blurry.

*facepalm*

So I spent an hour in the car, and about a half hour running around with them, and have five lousy pictures to show for it. (I did get a couple good pictures of the old warehouse, seen below.)

To try and boost my spirits, I did a couple of self portraits. Except.... like none of them came out either.

So, that has been my day. This sort of retarded expression pretty much sums it up.

The Wall

I sorta liked both versions for different reasons.

But - ouch! - they look pixelated!
