Laura's Hair

Not a very artist picture, but this is mostly for my blog entry.

Henry Benale

A character study of Henry Benale, from Worth of a Holly. I designed his uniform myself. :D He's an airmate (works on a flying naval ship).

Strider

This, too, didn't come out that great. I was watching the movie at the time.

Aragorn, in Fellowship of the Ring, from Lord of the Rings.

The Time that is Given Us

This one isn't very good. I drew it while watching Fellowship of the Ring a while ago. His lips didn't come out so I cropped the scan. :P

Frodo, Fellowship of the Ring, Lord of the Rings.

Two Rough Drawings

These both depict a character named Fanny. The first picture is a (very bad) marker illustration for the first scene Abigail and I wrote about Fanny as her own story. In the past, Fanny was taken advantage of by her betrothed and was forced to give up the baby to adoption. She has been back in society for about a month, but still is recovering from her wounded spirit. In this picture, she is preparing to go out for a social dinner, and trying to decide which dress to wear.

"Who do I want to be tonight?" she asked musingly, half to herself and half to her maid. She fingered a pink dress. "The flirt." A brown dress. " Solemn." A blue dress. "Or cheerful? Bookish, broodish, trivial..." She pulled out a delicate, soft pink gown. "Or sweet and quiet. Perfect for tonight. "

The second sketch is Fanny and her romantic interest, Nicolao.

I took this in, like, two seconds. It came out great for the timing and all. :)

Lake

A huge lake or river somewhere in AL.

Court in Sunset

Bridge

I couldn't decide if I liked the black and white or color version better.

Atticus

It's really noisy. :P I don't think we were actually allowed to take pictures. This is when Atticus was protecting Tom and the drunk men drive up.

The Clock

Townhall, where the play took place. Also where they filmed TKAM.

Audience

The audience, waiting for To Kill a Mockingbird to start.

Hope

This isn't very good... I drew it while watching The Two Towers. Eowyn, from Lord of the Rings.

New Zealand

A watercolor painting of a really, really cool town in New Zealand.
