Love, love, love this one. The focus on the ring, with the figure blurred in the background--great composition and everything.
If you want to manipulate it a little more, you might try taking a lot of the color out--make a black&white layer over the original color layer and fiddle with the transparency until it looks right. Just to...I don't know...bring out the mood of desperation more. Or something.
