Addy and Mr. Knight

This is Addy and Mr. Knight, her somewhat amusing, somewhat mysterious romantic interest.

Lauren (olde-fashioned, not LaurA, as in my sister) and I are writing letters back and forth. I decided to sketch the two main characters from my side.

I really like how their hands are almost touching, though neither is seems really interested in the other. Addy is wearing her opal necklace; Mr. Knight has a feather in his hat. *oooo! Spoilers!*

And I used Kiera's Netherfield ball gown for Addy, and Mr. Darcy's riding costume for Mr. Knight. I wanted to make sure that I had the costumes fairly accurate, and I'm really not good at body porpotions anyway. >.< Anyway, they DO look somewhat like Lizzy and Darcy.

Ruth

These are my characters, Ruth and her father. Ruth is in a comic Lostie and I are writing (Lostie is the primary illustrator). Her father is actually dead by the time they comic begins, but I wanted to draw something that showed Ruth before The Event. (No, it isn't called that. I'm just not going to give away spoilers.)

Anyway, her dad's a captain, but in this picture he's dressed in civilian clothing.

There's a lot of things wrong with this picture, but I still like it.

This is my favorite of the set. I love how it came out.

Her right eye (on our left) got smudged when I closed the sketch book. Sigh. Oh well.

*hugs Ruth*

Ruth, again. This time after The Event. I'm not sure when exactly, though I have several ideas.

Her hand is sort of bleh, but oh well. I'm still really happy with how this came out. I've really never done an angled face before.

Pride&Prejudice

Regency View

Random. But I like it a lot.

Princess

Princess Liola, from a story Abigail and I do.

Okay, her face didn't come out quite right, and stuff, but I like it still. I want to try the colors again. I kind of like the brown/black/blue.

Autumn's Leaves

Gold & Storm

Random. I liked the colors.

Pink Dress

Another random dress design. I think this would be very pretty, actually, though I don't know if you can really see what it is. The watercolors sort of blended too much, so you can't see what's skin and what isn't.

Robin

Robin, a character Abigail and I use. I think she's cute.

Midnight Troubles

Jrohest after a nightmare.

Perspective is all wrong, but I'm fairly pleased.

Purple Ball Gown

Designed by me. :)

I imagine this is something Ella would wear, Abigail. For the rest of you, just pretend it's...a gown. Which it is. So that makes it easy on you.

Emma Shoots

Emma, from Jane Austen's book. Also a good movie.

Her face didn't come out just right, but this was my second painting with watercolor pencils so I think I did pretty good.

Mr. Burd!

A character from a story Katherine and I do.

He looks a little odd, which is mostly my camera's fault. Alas, to not have a scanner! Also the drawing isn't this dark.

Rose

Alaith and a rose. Drew this last night. It's a little out of focus.

Wind Sleeves

Drew this last night.

Princess Elizabeth

I drew this a few days ago. The scan came out horrible.

Colonial View

Did this the other day.

Regency

A sketch I did the other day. It didn't come out too well.

Miss Bennet

Elizabeth Bennet. A very quick experiment with charcoal at the beginning of July.

Cross

Did this several months ago.
