Never Coming Back
~`~MINOR SPOILERS FOR E.T.O.L.T. RANDOMLY PLACED THROUGHOUT THIS INTRO AND POEM/BALLAD~`~
I drew this a bit back but was waiting to show it until I was done with the poem/ballad. Comments wanted badly!
Never Coming Back
In Memory of Prince Éonon Rone
By Anna Hall Blakak
To safety you sent me
Away from the fight
They took me on a white steed
In the dead of night
It was to help the kingdom
To keep me from that evil clan
What came was not your doing
I understand
Dreams and hopes both did we share
Each day did we greet in love and trust
Ambition and more were with me each step
I am sorry, my dear ones, they have turned into dust
Once I took delight in simple things
A butterfly was all it took to make me smile
But no more will the palace ring with my laughter
You will not hear it for a long while
Mamma, I never will be tall and handsome
The ladies of court will not look twice when I pass
For their eyes will be blinded
Behind an useable mask
My first love, mother, will not be beautiful
She will not be graceful or kind
I cannot sweep her off her feet
Nor will she sweep me off of mine
For I shall never find her
And she never me
Though a lady she become
A man I cannot be
Papa, I never will be brave and strong
Never will I be a wise and true king
Never will I rule the country
Nor bring it to take wing
I will not be renowned for my skill
In blade or in aim
My story shall ever be brief
And I no hero’s claim
I cannot not be the pride in your eyes
I will not be your joy
Through growing and learning I will not go
I will remain a boy
Sister, you cannot protect me
You cannot show me the easy way
I will not be yours to share secrets with
I will not hold your tears at bay
We will not race in the fields
We will never visit late at night
Though you remain my dearest friend
I have left your sight
Do not grieve, my family
I know it was safety you sought
But even our greatest plains can be ruined
By the turning of the clock
There was some reason for this
His love for you is not gone
Please, just trust in Him, dear ones
He will right this wrong
Look to the sky when you miss me
You will see my smile among the stars
And if you listen, you can hear my laugh
For I have left behind all mortal scars
No more will I be assaulted by pain and fear
Darkness’ touch I will not feel
Music surrounds me on all sides
I am ever dancing to it’s reel
So do not mourn for me
Do not with your dark cloths dull the red maple
For I am free to live and sing
As no man living is able
Let this pain mold you
From this loss learn
For though I love you all greatly
I shall never return

Where Can You Run?
Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here
***
This picture is a coarse one of Siarl Finish, whom most of you should know of. For you poor (or fortunate?) fellows who do not know, he is a character in one of my stories. To make a long story sort, he had a rotten life, met this guy who became his closest friend, was captured by a dragon, his friend saved him, his friend turned out to be a girl, he got mad and sent her away, hating her for the betrayal. The time this picture is in is about this point. He always loved the sea and often seeked refuge there.

The song I got the quotes from:
Dare You To Move
by Switchfoot
Welcome to the planet
Welcome to existence
Everyone's here
Everyone's here
Everybody's watching you now
Everybody waits for you now
What happens next?
What happens next?
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened before
Welcome to the fallout
Welcome to resistance
The tension is here
The tension is here
Between who you are and who you could be
Between how it is and how it should be
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened
Maybe redemption has stories to tell
Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell
Where can you run to escape from yourself?
Where you gonna go?
Where you gonna go?
Salvation is here
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself
Lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened
Today never happened
Today never happened before

"'I will grant you my Light by the blood of my Son...
"'And it will dwell in your hearts and give you life. Reach out, therefore, and close your hand about it that you may live and that my power may become yours.'"
-Trap Meridon, The Light of Eidon, by Karen Hancock
I could not find a distription of the orb, so I just settled with that. Bare with me here. My dad got me the necklace in Turkey when he was there last time, and soon after I read SW I realized that it looked almost exactly like an orb from the book. Be assured, many of my pictures will have this in it. :D

Okay, dudes, here's the deal...
I wanted to start an account on DevaintART, but my parents think it's not appropreate, so I've been given permission to use a blog. I decided to use blogger just 'cause... it's bigger, I guess, so my pictures wouldn't be making the screen wierd or whatever. :P Anyway, soon I'll get the first picture up.
Over and out!
