Don't blink.

Heheh.

Heights

I love this shot because it's unusual and stuff. Unfortunately: 1) From the position of the camera, set on the floor, I couldn't move it so it'd get the whole circle of the light in the frame. 2) I unconsciously hit the smaller button, so from here on all my pictures were a size barely worthy of being respectable. But I still like this shot.

The Giving Tree

Sort of darker than what I normally do. But I still like it. I did a lot more, but they didn't come out. Sigh.

It was based off of The Giving Tree, which is what I've been feeling like recently. I can try and try to make someone happy, but if they don't want to be satisfied all I end up doing is draining myself. Maybe I should stop trying. (And yes, I know that the poem is actually about giving freely and selflessly, but I still like the title anyway so there.)

Addy and Mr. Knight

This is Addy and Mr. Knight, her somewhat amusing, somewhat mysterious romantic interest.

Lauren (olde-fashioned, not LaurA, as in my sister) and I are writing letters back and forth. I decided to sketch the two main characters from my side.

I really like how their hands are almost touching, though neither is seems really interested in the other. Addy is wearing her opal necklace; Mr. Knight has a feather in his hat. *oooo! Spoilers!*

And I used Kiera's Netherfield ball gown for Addy, and Mr. Darcy's riding costume for Mr. Knight. I wanted to make sure that I had the costumes fairly accurate, and I'm really not good at body porpotions anyway. >.< Anyway, they DO look somewhat like Lizzy and Darcy.

Ruth

These are my characters, Ruth and her father. Ruth is in a comic Lostie and I are writing (Lostie is the primary illustrator). Her father is actually dead by the time they comic begins, but I wanted to draw something that showed Ruth before The Event. (No, it isn't called that. I'm just not going to give away spoilers.)

Anyway, her dad's a captain, but in this picture he's dressed in civilian clothing.

There's a lot of things wrong with this picture, but I still like it.

This is my favorite of the set. I love how it came out.

Her right eye (on our left) got smudged when I closed the sketch book. Sigh. Oh well.

*hugs Ruth*

Ruth, again. This time after The Event. I'm not sure when exactly, though I have several ideas.

Her hand is sort of bleh, but oh well. I'm still really happy with how this came out. I've really never done an angled face before.

It Feels So Much Lighter

I really, really, reallyreally wish the background wasn't over exposed. But I still love the picture, so....

And, yeah, that's my natural eye color. :D

I got the itch again and had to do some more photoshoots. :) This is a hat I've had for a long time but never photoshooted in. I'm not sure why...

This is actually from a few months ago. I lost the pictures for a while, and when I found them I didn't have time to edit and post them.

Shoes

The idea was to be playing the piano in a gown with casual shoes on. :) I don't know if you get that vive, though. I still like this picture.

Except I wish the other shoe I'd tried using earlier wasn't in the background... *facepalm* Thats what I get for being the model and photographer.

Storm

We were watching a movie, and Dad remembered that there were some storms coming. I pulled it up on weather.com and said, "Oh, it's right on top of us!" We looked out the window and there was this big, ominous cloud with crossing the sky. It was very cool, and somewhat scary. Here you can see it cutting off the light.

Dark

This is incredibly noisy. Sigh.

Levels gave me several options with this one, and I sort of like all of them. :) This is the closest to reality.
This is the automatic. (Pretty scary, eh?)

And a Black and White version, which I think is my favorite.

I don't know that I like this one, just because the bottom rocket is cut off. Oh well.

Child's Eyes

This little girl caught my attention because her eyes are just beautiful. I've been trying for some time to get the sort of sparkle-lighting that would capture eyes like this, but now I'm thinking it's just a type of eye that catches the light perfectly. Anyway, she was kind enough to let me take some pictures. :)
