Daughter

We wanted to get a picture of Hannah and a cannon, and this nice gentleman volunteered himself to stand with her. He looks like her father, or grandfather.

Thought&Silence

One of our calvary friends. I love this picture.

We were running around playing and this soldier ran up to us and grabbed the flag, calling, "Nono! You have to get the good side!" I thought this actually fits Hannah's personality rather well. *wink*

A Moment of Peace

I liked this one because the guy was just sitting there and I snapped it. And he looks in place and stuff. It just came out pretty good.

Butterman

We took the bread and homemade butter in a basket and walked around offering it to people. In one southern camp, this older, backwoods looking soldier said in his backwoods, heavy southern accent, "Bread'n butter! What'w'd be bettar? Mmmmmmm! Those folks don't know what thar missin'!" And as we walked away he called us back and asked for more. Later we came by and gave him a third piece, because we liked him.

Riding

Me and Hannah wanted to see if we could get in the saddle with skirts, so we asked a lady who was doing pictures on horseback for $5 if we could use our own camera for the picture for free. She said yes, because we gave her bread and butter. This is Hannah.

Renee & Adelred

Two characters Hannah and I write about, a fanfiction based on The Lord of the Rings.

Renee (a French name, I know) was a Ranger before and through the War of the Ring. She met Adelred at Edoras. He was one of the Eorlings. They struck up and later were married.

Diabetes

I was cleaning up the house in preparation for Philip's birthday, and saw Laura had left her shot out (something she does a lot). I liked the lighting, and the fact her Diet Dr. Pepper was right there, so I took a picture.

The Lord

Liagiba, though I see this as being her as the lord.

I thought that the blue eyes represented her...what's the word... that there's something good, pure, or different in her that's clear despite all the reckage and scratches around her. Anyway, I really like how it turned out.
