On one of our first trips to DC, we had a little dog toy. We went around and took pictures of him everywhere. This last trip Laura found a ducky right before we left, so we ran around with it. I am very fond of this picture.

Freedom

Freedom is not free. At the Korean memorial.

Captivated

Princess Ashani, a character from E.T.O.L.T. She is Hain's daughter. In book three, she is captured by an enemy country. A childhood friend of hers ends up being able to rescue her, getting himself captured, also, in the process. They end up falling in love (cliche, I know), and get married after a time. Anyway. This is her in the prison. The light at the bottom of the picture is from her star necklace. Long story short: the necklace is silver with some Light in it. Light is, basically, light. So it glows sometimes. Easy enough? Good.
