Took this the other day on a walk. I was thinking about making it all dark and sorrowful, but the blue sky's just too purty. As a side note, I entered this in a contest thing, so it could be published in a newspaper. :D

Sparks

I took this today and finally fully appeciated my camera. Can you see the sparks? (if not, look at full size.) It takes a really good camera just to get the fire--but the sparks too! *beams* It made my day.

Mother's Last Gift

Did this the other day. About a month ago I found the little white packet, I don't know where it's from, and it reminded me of the white packet Firebird's mom gave her before she set out in Firebird. I've been looking ever since for something I could use as poison. Tried growing cristels, but that didn't work. So when we went to the Potomac I gathered up some small glass shards. Then Mom threw those away. Laura took me out back and I used a rock to crush some glass we found there, which is what you see above. :)
